I am Ania.

For 28 years, I’ve been helping people around the world build career security so they can navigate a changing job market with clarity and confidence.

My name is Anna Schmidt and I specialise in creating opportunities in the face of change and chaos. I am an occupational psychologist, strategist, investor, certified coach (ICF), mentor (EMCC), trainer, business sparring partner (BEC), and a former head-hunter.

As CEO Career Partners Institute (Career Partners International), I advise organisations around the world on the future of work, flexible career paths, and building authentic relationships. I oversee the design and strategic direction of outplacement and development programs across 18 countries.

As a sparring partner, I support individual clients in managing change and building a sustainable PortfolioCareer and PortfolioLife. I have helped over 20,000 clients from companies such as Google, Chevron, Meta, Accenture, UBS, Novartis, Lufthansa, Salesforce, Roche, and DuPont to navigate changes in their professional lives.

Experience.

Labour market.

My years of experience working with clients, alongside scientific research*, point to the same conclusion: regardless of age or where you live, the fragmented job market triggers fear and uncertainty in all of us.

In times of constant change, a sense of security has become one of the things people crave the most.

This is why I created the PortfolioCareer Design programme, drawing on my 28 years of experience. Through this programme, I teach you how to integrate your various skills and experiences to restore a sense of control over your own life.

I help people build a portfolio that allows them to make full use of their talents and create more than one source of income. I connect people and businesses, aligning dreams with real-world needs so that my clients can enjoy the benefits of a versatile career, with a real sense of ease and confidence.

I support clients in building a portfolio that allows them to fully apply their talents and create more than one source of income. I connect people and businesses, aligning one person’s dreams with another’s needs so that my clients can confidently enjoy the possibilities of a fulfilling career. In my day-to-day work, I show clients that opportunities are no longer limited by geography and there’s no reason to confine themselves to the local market.

Context.

I combine experience gained in international corporations (L’Oréal, P&G), the public sector (Human Resources & Development Canada), and years of business practice working with clients across industries and cultures around the world.

As an investor and business sparring partner, I work with organisations at various stages of development.

This gives me a unique perspective on what the future of work will look like. I understand the challenges professionals face at different stages of their careers and know how to address them in original, effective ways.

As an advocate of business diplomacy, I create spaces where relationships are built on authenticity, rather than being transactional. I have a natural gift for building an atmosphere of trust where people feel at ease and safe. More About Me.

Gourmet Travel.

Everyone who knows me knows that discovering the world through its flavours is one of my greatest passions. Some might just call it being a foodie, but doesn’t “traveling in search of peaceful places, happy people, and extraordinary culinary experiences” sound better?

Salonnières.

The diversity of people has always energised me. Years ago, when I created Social Tables, I dreamt of restoring human connection. That dream has since come true. Today, together with my daughter Wiktoria, we host intellectual salons (Modern Salon Movement) in cities across Europe, offering people space for deep conversation and the opportunity to build authentic, lasting relationships.

Art & Design.

Art and design have always been unfulfilled dreams of mine, yet they quietly shape the way I see the world. I look for harmony, aesthetics, and history in my surroundings. I like exhibitions, artistic experiences, and if it were possible I would live in the garden of the Rodin Museum in Paris. On a day-to-day basis, interior design for friends has become a way for me to express my creativity and passion for harmony in my surroundings.

Music.

Music has re-entered my life thanks to my Gen Z clients! They’ve shown me that it doesn’t have to just play in the background but deserves attention in its own right. When I want to give the left side of my brain a rest, I immerse myself in sounds, looking for emotions that move, calm or energise me.
